Mexico are expected to include Raul Jimenez in their World Cup squad.

Mexico had to apologise to Wolves last week for naming Raul on the bench for a friendly game, when there was no chance of him being involved, after the Premier League club gave him permission to link up with his international team-mates.

New manager Julen Lopetegui is a worried man.

"I spoke with Raul about his situation with Mexico," said Lopetegui.

"I am worried about him. He has not been playing for Wolves and we need Raul fit and in the best situation. I hope he will come back in this way.

"I respect the decision of the player and the coach but above all the most important thing for me is Wolves."
