Newcastle United recruit Shefki Kuqi admits it is a great opportunity for him to play at the same club as his football hero.
The 34-year old Finnish attacker has been signed by Toon boss Alan Pardew for a short-term spell as he deals with a striker shortage and the move has pleased the former Swansea City man who is a great admirer as club legend Alan Shearer.
"Alan Shearer has always been one of my heroes. I used to watch him on TV and wish I could play like him. I'm so proud to get this chance," Kuqi said.
