New Bayern Munich chief Max Eberl has denied reports of talks with Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso.
Alonso, also a target for Liverpool, is favourite for the Bayern job with Thomas Tuchel to step down at the end of the season.
But Eberl told Sky Deutschland: “We haven't spoken to anyone yet. We have to concentrate on ourselves first and then we will have respectful conversations."
In general, the search for a new coach is of course in full swing.
“We already have a list of priorities that we want to work through quickly," added Eberl. "But we still have a season ahead of us and we want to finish it. I won't talk about coaches from other clubs. We have to do our job. There are many facets when looking for a trainer."
