Napoli president De Laurentiis warns players: Do it again and I will fine you HEAVILY

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis says he will no longer tolerate any poor behaviour from the players towards coach Rudi Garcia.

Both Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have shown unhappiness with Garcia during games this season.

But ADL has now warned: "I don't accept it anymore, it's the last time it happens and I told the players. Even if I see just one finger raised, the fine will be triggered. And on this point I will be implacable. It's not acceptable, if someone has a swollen vein yes he holds back and lets off steam the next day. From now on there will be fines. And they will be very heavy fines.

"I have been very clear on this. And I hope I will no longer have to intervene. I have wondered about Garcia, especially when a man thinks he has made a mistake. I take all the blame, I take all the responsibility. Garcia felt at the centre of the criticism and I had to hurry up to hold out my hand and make him understand that we were moving forward together.

"We are all ready to fix the mistakes, I hope that these errors must not be repeated again. The coach has the right to make his own choices during the matches and gestures should not be made as happened. I spoke about it with the players. The coach makes the choices, I have not fined at the moment, but we can talk about it calmly the next day. I'll see Olivera tomorrow, the last one to return, but it's nice to be able to talk to all the players, even in English. There is someone new and the conversation is different.

"I pointed out to the others who won the scudetto that we still need to continue playing for the scudetto and for the fans."
