Napoli management have slammed contract claims for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgia star was said to be in a new contract dispute with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

But Napoli management responded to the rumours, declaring: “Some media continue to report, with the footballer's agents as their only source, alleged negotiations for the renewal of Kvaratskhelia.

"It's all about 'bull****'. Nobody in Naples ever spoke about the possible renewal of the footballer, whose contract expires in four years.

"Neither Mauro Meluso, nor Maurizio Micheli, nor Aurelio De Laurentiis, nor Andrea Chiavelli did it."
