Napoli are eyeing Aston Villa defender Clement Lenglet for the January market.

Lenglet is on-loan at Villa from Barcelona and has struggled for action so far this season.

Sport says Barcelona hope to sell Lenglet this winter transfer window to balance their books.

However, Napoli want to loan Lenglet, with Barcelona to try to include a mandatory purchase option in any deal. Further complicating matters is the two clubs have been drawn together for the Champions League round of 16.

Laenglet has a contract until the summer of 2026.
