Napoli consider dealing in Mirante for Juventus clash

Antonio Mirante is a target for Napoli ahead of Serie A's resumption.

Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina suffered an injury on international duty with Colombia, while Alex Meret is out injured after the match against Genoa in the League. Last night Ospina suffered a blow when Colombia played against Bolivia in the World Cup qualifiers.

As such, the Partenopei reportedly consider signing free agent Antonio Mirante ahead of the match against Juventus in Serie A.

Il Mattino reports Mirante could be an idea for the Partenopei.

The former Roma goalkeeper has been without a club since his contract expired in June. The 38-year-old has previous stints with Juventus, Crotone, Siena, Sampdoria, Parma and Bologna.
