Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri cooled their title hopes after drawing 1-1 with Sassuolo.
A late Jose Callejon equaliser canceled out Matteo Politano's opener for Sassuolo.
“We suffered because we went behind in a strange way after some favourable situations," Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was problematic to raise the tempo against a Sassuolo side who focused on protecting their lead and taking home the result. We created a lot of chances again today, but it's a period where we aren't converting enough of them into goals."
Sarri added: “Our objective is to reach 87 points and set a new all-time record for Napoli in Serie A. That is the only reason we are disappointed to drop two points today."
