Koffi Djidji says Nantes players are delighted for former teammate Papy Djilobodji over his move to Chelsea.
The Nantes defender says the locker room were aware that Chelsea had been pursuing Djilobodji for over a year.
Djidji told Mercato365: "I did not often see Papy because we trained apart. I knew he was going.
"I knew it when he had his big season two years ago, Chelsea had already contacted him. Now it's true, it was not a surprise. He wanted to leave. I'm happy for him because he wanted to find a good club in Spain or England.
"Now, is he going to play or not? I do not know. Chelsea have a lot of players on loan, at least twenty..."
"Congratulations to him. In addition, he is a good person."
