Manchester United's in-house channel MUTV appeared to enjoy their friendly win over Arsenal.

United commentator Ben Thornley delivered a scathing assessment of new Arsenal signing Kai Havertz.

The German started in a 2-0 loss in New Jersey, which United won through Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho goals.

Commentating on the game for MUTV, Thornley was asked what he'd change for Arsenal and said: “Well, I'd have just taken Kai Havertz off because he's rubbish!"

His co-commentator then asked: “What have you got against Kai Havertz?" with Thornley insisting “I haven't got anything against him."
