David Moyes believes Manchester United have "not really moved on" since he departed the club in 2014.
Moyes succeeded club legend Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 but was sacked after less than a season in charge of the club.
United have since gone through two more managers, and Moyes says the problems he faced at Old Trafford are still in place.
He told talkSPORT: "Since I took over to where they are now, I don't think there's an awful lot of difference because when I took over it was needing change and a turnaround of players and that was all going to take time.
"I feel like the four years or so ago that I was managing there, it's probably not really moved on much more from when I was there. It's quite similar.
"They're still saying there has to be changes, there has to be things done.
"So that time from then I don't think has been used awfully well."
