Former West Ham boss David Moyes believes RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner can be a breakout star at the World Cup for Germany.

Arsenal, Liverpool, as well as La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, have been linked to the RB Leipzig star.

“In Germany, they fancy Timo Werner to be one of the new stars to emerge from the tournament," Moyes wrote in The Times.

"He's potential Golden Boot winner. I haven't seen enough of him to make definite judgments but I know of his potential.

“It will be interesting to see how he copes with the burden of being their main man if they go deep in the competition."
