Moyes accepts West Ham Cup defeat: It's a blow

West Ham boss David Moyes offered no excuses after their FA Cup replay defeat at Bristol City.

Tommy Conway's third minute goal was enough to send City into the Fourth Round.

Moyes later said: "Disappointed. Lots of things didn't go for us tonight but overall disappointed.

"We had one or two opportunities, especially in the first half. Some good things but not enough to win the game.

"It is amazing they call this one of the biggest cup competitions but we don't have VAR in all the games, some you do and some you don't.

"It is a blow because we would have liked to have been in the cup but we have Europe to look forward to in March and we are in a good position in the league, but we are disappointed to go out."

He added on Said Benrahma's red card, he added: "No problem. I think it is a red card from what I had seen."
