Jose Morais has been named new manager of Barnsley.

Morais worked with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and most recently Chelsea.

He was with Mourinho during his second spell at Stamford Bridge and has since had spells in charge of Antalyaspor and AEK Athens.

Morais replaces Paul Heckingbottom at Oakwell following his move to Leeds earlier this month.

His first match in charge will be the visit of relegation rivals Burton next week.
