Jose Mourinho has revealed the three Manchester United players he never would have sold.
United's hierarchy have been criticised in recent years for offloading some key attacking players and current manager Mourinho agrees with the general consensus.
"Manchester United sold players I would never sell," Mourinho told the BBC.
"And bought players I would never buy.
"I would never have sold [Angel] Di Maria, [Javier Hernandez] Chicharito and Danny Welbeck.
"Never, no chance."
Argentine winger Di Maria was offloaded to PSG for around £44million in the summer of 2015, just one year after arriving at Old Trafford from Real Madrid for close to £60m.
Mexican striker Chicharito spent five years with United, apart from a loan spell at Real Madrid, and was sold to Bayer Leverkusen for £7.3m in the same transfer window as Di Maria.
English forward Welbeck was discarded for £16m to Arsenal in 2014 after progressing through the Red Devils' youth academy.
