England midfielder Mason Mount's move to Manchester United has been a failure so far.

The attacking midfielder will be the first to admit his transfer hasn't gone to plan since the summer.

Mount arrived to United from Chelsea in a £60 million deal last summer, but has spent most of this season injured.

Per the Manchester Evening News, a current team-mate has created doubts on Mount's motives for signing.

The outlet claims that a “source close to one of the United players claims that the deal was not for football reasons."

Chelsea legend John Terry said something similar in the past, stating in September: “There's another side to the story. Let's not be too harsh on him when he comes back."
