Morris snaps at Chelsea fans over Musiala debate

Chelsea may be disappointed in losing Germany star Jamal Musiala to Bayern Munich three years ago.

With Musiala impressing at the World Cup, despite Germany's exit, ex-Chelsea man Jody Morris explained that the club had little choice in the matter.

Former academy boss Morris responded to fan criticism of Chelsea not doing more to hold onto Musiala when he was breaking through at youth level.

He replied to fans on Twitter: "Chelsea academy didn't let him go, he wanted to leave and go to Bayern and they couldn't do anything about it."

Morris responded to another fan who questioned his defense of Chelsea: "Got a sneaky feeling I may know more about what the academy wanted regarding Musiala more than you son."
