Morgan Schneiderlin is proud to have reached 250 games with Southampton.

It is now six-and-a-half years since Schneiderlin arrived at the club as an 18-year-old, following a £1.2m move from RC Strasbourg.

Reflecting on how he has improved in that time, the France international said: "It's simple. If I can analyse this, I came here as a little boy and now I am a man - simple as that. I was a boy on and off the pitch, and now I am a man on and off the pitch.

"This city, this club make me grow, and I'm very happy to have this 250 appearance and it means a lot."
