More details emerge of Isco's failed Union Berlin move

Further details have emerged of Isco's deadline day move to Union Berlin falling through.

Released from his contract at Sevilla, Isco had agreed personal terms with Union Berlin and had taken his medical before everything collapsed.

BILD says Isco was to sign a contract until 2024.

But in the final negotiations, Isco then demanded a one-off payment of €1.5m in the summer. But Union rejected the request.

Soon after both parties walked away from the negotiating table despite Isco having passed his medical in Berlin.
