AS Monaco technical chief Paul Mitchell is monitoring the changes at Manchester United.

A Mancunian, Mitchell was spotted at the FA Youth Cup semifinal this season at Old Trafford sitting with United caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick.

Mitchell has past experience with Southampton and Tottenham.

With United undergoing major changes at management level, Mitchell has been raised for a potential move to Old Trafford.

Last week, chief scout Jim Lawlor and head of global recruitment Marcel Bout were both shown the door at United.
