AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana has explained turning down Premier League offers over the summer.

Fofana admits the proposals tabled didn't tempt him.

He explained to Canal+, "I want to go somewhere where I can continue to be selected for the French national team.

"If you choose between Nottingham Forest, Fulham and AS Monaco, then I stay in Monaco."

Fofana has also been linked with Newcastle and Liverpool since the summer market shut.
