Monaco midfielder Cesc hoping Messi sticks with Barcelona; talks Pep vs Mourinho

AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi will stay.

Messi is off contract in June and is a target for PSG and Manchester City.

But Cesc told Tuttosport: "Barcelona is his home, it has been his team since he was a child. They are personal choices and I don't interfere there.

"Given the situation, it seems difficult to imagine him here. But I sure would be very happy to live in Monte Carlo."

Cesc was also asked about City boss Pep Guardiola, who he played for Barca, and Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, who he worked with at Chelsea.

He added: "Everyone thinks they are opposites, but in reality they just have a different style of play. As a coach and way of living football they are identical, that is, maniacs and winners. The two, who have recently been joined by (Jurgen) Klopp, they marked an era."
