Romania goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan is already in Madrid to sign for Atletico Madrid.
The contract will run for the next four and a half seasons. After landing on Monday afternoon in Barajas, the Rapid Bucharest goalkeeper will undergo the relevant medical examination prior to signing.
In this way, Moldovan will cover the imminent departure of Ivo Grbic to Sheffield United, becoming the backup for Jan Oblak against whom he made his debut in the first of his eight international matches, in a friendly against Slovenia on November 17, 2022.
Moldovan will experience an intense Tuesday, since in the morning the medical tests await him prior to his signing as a new Atlético player. He may even take part in the 6pm training session after last night's win at Granada.
