Brighton's Jakub Moder is hoping that he can get in the team for Premier League matches.
The Albion took on Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup second round on Tuesday, winning 2-0.
Poland international Moder got his first Brighton goal, after being sent clear by Enock Mwepu.
Moder said post-game, per The Argus: "It was a great ball from Enock, I was one-v-one. I am happy.
"They [younger players] played really well. Our central defenders Antef and Haydon kept everything together. I am really proud of every player tonight."
He added: "I am not frustrated [being on the bench in the Premier League] but I am training hard and pushing to get my chance.
"It's very important for me to play 90 minutes tonight.
"I played well and scored a goal, I am happy with that."
