MLS or China next on agenda of Chelsea captain Terry - Wilkins

Chelsea great Ray Wilkins has tipped John Terry to continue his career in the USA or China.

The 35-year-old Blues skipper announced on Sunday that he will not be remaining at Stamford Bridge beyond the current campaign and according to former Stamford Bridge assistant Wilkins, he is most likely headed for North America.

Wilkins feels that Terry is likely to follow former Chelsea teammates Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard and old England colleague Steven Gerrard to MLS but could quite possibly be lured to the Chinese Super League if they come in with a massive offer.

"His friend Ashley Cole has moved to Los Angeles, Steven Gerrard is there, Frank Lampard is in New York," he said on Sky Sports News HQ.

"It will either be MLS, the middle east or the far east, China are coming into the fore massively with the financial situation in football. It will probably be the MLS. It won't be in England.

"[He] could come back in a few years time, who knows what happens in football. But Chelsea are losing one hell of a footballer and one hell of a person."
