Mladen Petric says he's joined Fulham for the fans.

The Croatia international, 31, has signed a one-year deal with the Cottagers after becoming a free agent.

Petric played under Fulham boss Martin Jol at Hamburg and remembers a Europa Cup visit to London two years ago.

He said: "It was very nice to play at Craven Cottage with a fantastic crowd.

"The club is doing very well and that was why I decided to come here."
