Miguel Almiron has taken aim at his Newcastle United teammates.
Steve Bruce's struggling side have only won two of their last 18 league games and lie just two points off the relegation zone - albeit with a game in hand on Fulham in 18th - after a disastrous 3-0 defeat against Brighton before the international break.
Almiron - himself an energetic, conscientious player - openly admitted he is keen to move away from St James' Park in a damning indictment of the Bruce regime.
He told Paraguayan radio station ABC Cardinal on Friday: "I would like to play in a team that fights more."
Although he went on to say he feels "happy" and "comfortable" in the North East.
