Real Madrid Castilla coach Michel has handed in his resignation.
Michel had been in charge of the Castilla since 2006 and only last week was talking enthusiastically about his current group of young players.
But the former Real defender resigned yesterday from the job.
"I am disappointed. If the president does not believe in my work, it is best that I go. Although I feel sad about this, I am proud of the work I've done and I hope that from now on, Ramon Calderon is interested in knowing (how the Castilla is working)," said Michel.
