Melbourne Victory's Muscat to find out more today

Melbourne Victory captain Kevin Muscat will learn his fate today after he was involved in a post-match scuffle on Friday night.

Muscat was seen pushing Brisbane Roar goalkeeping coach Fernando Vaz Alvez during a fiery end to a dramatic match at AAMI Park which saw a referee error allow the league leaders to clinch a point with a late equalizer.

Scenes from the middle of the pitch will be investigated but according to Fox Sports commentator Mark Bosnich, the Victory skipper doesn't have too much to worry about.

"This happens at the end of all games," Bosnich said on air.

"The only difference is that it happens in the tunnel and we don't see it.

"At the end of the day it's just handbags - I have seen 100 times worse than that.

"Melbourne Victory...were denied a victory by a poor decision at the end," he added.

"But I don't know why players mill around for so long at the end of the game.

"Passions are running high and you get that (because) it means that much to the players.

"If it's going to get like that it's best just to get to the tunnel ... whatever happens in the tunnel stays in the tunnel."
