Mee pleased confidence back at Burnley

Burnley captain Ben Mee has incredible belief that his team will be able to continue their winning streak in the Premier League.

The Clarets have won three in a row, moving them into 15th place in the league.

But they know that a lot of work must still be done, as their situation is still precarious.

Mee hopes they can continue the run against the Hornets away from home.

"I think the confidence is coming back to us. Certainly, the results have been coming," said Mee to reporters.

"We had a couple of decent performances against Spurs and Arsenal and went close with them.

"We had a blip against Everton, which was really disappointing, but we've come back really well and got three really big results which have put us in a great position.

"That was a really poor performance from us (against Everton) and unexpected from a group like us to really fold like that.

"It's not happened many times under the gaffer.

"We were really up for the games coming up against teams in and around us which we knew were really important.

"That was laid down and the target was set to go and win those games and we did it, which was really pleasing."
