Benni McCarthy is happy playing alongside makeshift striker Christopher Samba in Blackburn's attack.

After victory over Wigan, McCarthy said: "To be honest, it's weird but very nice playing up front with him.

"With his height he distracts a lot of the defenders and attracts all the attention. He plays striker in training as well and does all these fancy things and seems to pull it off. The boys have been calling him Drogba, Kanu and Adebayor!"
