Former FC Moscow striker Maxi Lopez has no doubts over his surprise move to Catania.

The ex-Barcelona striker has joined Catania in a permanent deal this week.

"I spoke to the Argentines in the squad and they told me that despite a difficult situation, there is every chance of emerging positively," he explained.

"This is a strong team and club supporting the whole infrastructure. When I spoke to the President and director general, I realised I fit into the tactical project at Catania.

"I will also play more consistently than I would've done at Lazio. In 10 days I'll be ready to step on to the field."
