Marseille's Roma, AC Milan target Ayew gunning for Premier League move

Andre Ayew admits his preferred destination, if he were to leave Marseille, would be the English Premier League.

The 25-year old Ghanaian winger is expected to depart the Stade Velodrome in the summer and has subsequently been linked with a number of clubs in Europe.

Italian pair AS Roma and AC Milan and German duo Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg have all been credited with interest in Ayew but the player himself admits the Premier League is the most appealing for him.

"I have had a lot of different offers from different countries, but I will have to discuss with Marseille," Ayew told Sky Sports.

"I will make a decision soon, and look at the offers that are coming in and decide what is best for my future.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world today, and it would be an honour play there.

"I talk to a lot with my friends who have played there. Samuel Eto'o, Alex Song, Samir Nasri, Joey Barton have all given me great advice about the Premier League.

"I am still in contract with Marseille, so I cannot give names of clubs, but there has been contact."

Ayew, who has been with Marseille for his entire senior career, is a target for Newcastle United, Swansea City and Everton while Arsenal and Tottenham have also been mentioned.
