Marseille face 'large-scale operation' if they want Tottenham midfielder Sissoko

Olympique Marseille are weighing up whether they can cover the cash demands needed to land Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The France international is on OM's summer shopping list, but L'Equipe reporter Hugo Delom believes there's a lot of work to do to get a deal over the line.

He declared: "His profile has been studied by the leaders of OM. Today, there has been no particular progress. Sissoko, who comes out of a very complicated year in Tottenham, will favor playing time.

"He can not miss this year of the World Cup. Is Marseille willing to put 25 or 30 million euros (the price the Spurs will demand) on him?

"We must also take into consideration the wages of the old Toulousain. For OM, it would be a large-scale operation."
