Marseille coach Tudor explains delaying London flight: It was Conte's spies!

Olympique Marseille coach Igor Tudor has explained delaying their trip to London this week.

OM stayed an extra morning before flying to London yesterday ahead of tonight's Champions League opener at Tottenham.

Tudor explained: "Nothing changes because I prepare all matches in the same way. Of course, this competition is very important, it is the best competition in the world, but in the end it is a football match. Tottenham will want to win, we will do our best and see what happens. We want to be a serious team, we don't want to just visit the stadium.

"We don't have much time to prepare for the match. If we had done it here, Antonio (Conte, Tottenham manager) would have seen everything, because he always does. There would have been cameras, so better prepare for the match in Marseille this morning.

"When I arrived at Juve I was 20 and he (Conte) was an example. Then he opened the doors to me when I started coaching. Now he is one of the best in the world."
