Marlos Moreno will head to Deportivo La Coruña on loan after signing a deal with Manchester City this week, reveals the winger's agent.

Moreno played an integral part in Atletico Nacional's Copa Libertadores triumph this season and the striker managed to catch the attention of Premier League giants City with his fine performances.

Now Moreno's agent, Eladio Tamayo, has gone on to confirm that the Colombian is on the verge of completing a move to City but added that the 19-year-old will immediately be sent out on loan to Spanish La Liga side Deportivo for the upcoming campaign.

Tamayo revealed: "I will travel with him on Saturday to sign a contract with Manchester City and he will go on loan to Deportivo La Coruna for a year.

"The main architect of all this is Marlos, with his discipline and commitment. I just contributed a bit. I love him like a son.

"We built this dream together and we did it with the help of his mother, his brothers and his girlfriend."
