Parma president Giampietro Manenti insists the club will have money to pay employees this week.

Manenti has been heavily criticised by the city's Mayor.

"I don't care what the Mayor says. I am not running an election campaign, nor do I have political interests to safeguard," Manenti told Teleducato.

"The money will arrive early next week."
