Steve Mandanda made his first appearance for Crystal Palace as they ended pre-season on a winning note.

The Eagles comfortably accounted for Southern Football League side Farnborough 3-0 on Monday to finish their summer preparation ahead of the weekend's Premier League kick-off.

Alan Pardew deployed a youthful side with Luke Dreher opening the scoring and Sullay Kaikai helping himself to a double with Mandanda managing a clean sheet on debut.

France international Mandanda, who joined Palace from Marseille earlier in the summer, only recently linked up with his new teammates after being granted an extended break due to his obligations with France at Euro2016.

The South London club meet West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park on Saturday in their first fixture of the 2016/17 campaign.
