Manchester United winger Ashley Young admits he's not heard from England coach Roy Hodgson.

Young has been one of Louis van Gaal's most consistent performers this season.

"There was no conversation (with Hodgson). Obviously I will always want to represent my country.

"I was a little bit disappointed not to be in the squad, but like I say, I have got to make sure I am playing well here at United and hopefully I will get the call at some time soon."
