Manchester United are willing to double Raphael Varane's Real Madrid wages to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.
ABC says after signing David Alaba in a Bosman deal from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid are ready to make decisions on Sergio Ramos and Varane.
The Frenchman currently earns about £5million a season at Los Blancos but United are ready to double that if they can complete the signing of him.
Varane has been linked with a switch to United for years but it appears this summer it could finally happen.
The 28-year-old has yet to sign a new deal at Real despite playing in 32 La Liga matches this season.
The reports also claim Real are ready to sell Varane for £60m if he snubs a new contract offer.
