Man Utd whizkid Garnacho suffers Ronaldo online snub

Manchester United breakout star Alejandro Garnacho has been ignored by his idol at the club.

The teenager won the United Player of the Month award for November, with the winger excelling as a starter and off the bench for Erik ten Hag's team going into the World Cup break.

Despite several teammates responding to Garnacho's Instagram post that thanked fans for the award, there was a notable absence.

The star's idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, was not among those to offer a word of congratulations.

David de Gea commented: “Good lad!"

Club captain Harry Maguire added: “Well deserved mate."

Casemiro and Tyrell Malacia had also responded to the post, along with several academy players.
