West Ham United star Declan Rice is not afraid to admit his affection for Old Trafford.

The Hammers and England midfielder played the full 90 minutes against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

Despite his side losing the game 1-0, Rice put in a commendable display and almost got his side level in the dying moments of the contest.

"It's inspiring for sure - it's Old Trafford," Rice told Sky Sports pre-match about his admiration for his opponent's stadium.

"You think of the heritage, the big games that have been here, the top players that've played here. You want to come here as a player and stamp your mark and stamp your authority - one to get a win, and two to play well yourself."

Rice is wanted by Man United, along with a host of top clubs in England and around Europe.
