Frenkie de Jong is refusing to leave Barcelona.
Sport says Barca and Manchester United have reached terms over a fee for the Holland midfielder.
Barca have agreed to sell De Jong to United for €85m, however everything hinges on the player.
And for the moment, the midfielder doesn't want to leave Barca - particularly given what he expects from the next two years of his contract.
Having agreed to defer payments over the past two seasons, De Jong expects to be paid €20m for the coming campaign and €28m for season 2023/24.
As such, De Jong doesn't want to give up the fortune he is owed, though also favours playing for the Blaugrana over United.
Barca have already informed De Jong's agent they wish him to leave after a meeting last week. But for the moment, the Dutchman is digging in his heels.
