Manchester United will seek to buy a new striker in January.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting United wish to add to their striker depth next month.

The plan is to sign striker cover, rather than a frontline forward.

It's said that United have held talks over Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart), Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund) and Timo Werner (RB Leipzig).

Summer signing Rasmus Hojlund is yet to score in the Premier League for United.
