Manchester United are set to hold talks with Barcelona superstar Neymar THIS WEEK.

El Mundo Deportivo says United have sent a representative to Brazil in a last-ditch attempt to stop Neymar signing a contract.

Neymar has been offered fresh terms by Barcelona that would raise his current contract clause to £147million.

United have sent an unnamed representative to South America to broker a deal with Neymar.

The player is back in his home country after trips to Ibiza and the USA this summer.

Fellow suitors Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are said to have done the same as United by flying out officials to secure a deal.

ABC, meanwhile, says United have offered Neymar a £13.5m-a-year deal to quit Barca this summer.
