Manchester United are set to send goalkeeper Dean Henderson back on loan next season.
There has been speculation Henderson would return from his loan spell with Sheffield United in order to replace the underperforming David De Gea.
However, ESPNclaim United do not think Henderson will usurp the Spaniard if he returns to Old Trafford in the summer.
That doesn't mean United are ready to sell the 22-year-old, who they believe is a "certainty" to become a top-class goalkeeper.
But they do think it would be a waste of time for Henderson to work as number two behind De Gea.
Henderson's performances for the Blades has him firmly in contention for a spot in England's Euro2020 squad.
