Man Utd prepared to sell Tomasz Kuszczak on the cheap

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to offload goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

The Sun says the keeper has no future at Old Trafford and is now fourth choice behind David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard and Ben Amos.

West Ham passed up the chance to sign Kuszczak on loan last month and opted for Arsenal outcast Manuel Almunia.

Kuszczak's former club West Brom were keen on a move in the summer but failed to agree a fee with United after they slapped a £4million price tag on him.

The Poland international stopper, 29, joined United for £2m in July 2007 following a loan spell and has made just 61 appearances in five years at Old Trafford.

He has not played since the Red Devils' 1-1 draw at Blackburn on May 14.

No one was willing to pay United's asking price in the summer but United are now ready to accept a lower sum in the New Year.
