Manchester United are intensifying their interest in Benfica fullback Alex Grimaldo.
The Sun says United scouts were in attendance for Benfica's 4-0 victory over Fereinse.
It is believed they were watching left-back Grimaldo – who Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola recently flew out to see.
As well as a United presence at the Estadio da Luz, there were also representatives from Middlesbrough, Juventus, Osasuna, Valencia and Estoril.
Grimaldo, who has a £51million buy-out clause, has started every game so far this season for the Portuguese giants.
