Man Utd need to work on finishing - Depay

Memphis Depay states that Manchester United have to improve their efficiency in front of goal.

United laboured to a 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle United on Saturday but despite their poor performance, the Red Devils did have more than enough chances to be able to claim the victory.

Depay was one of the many United players guilty of missing clear cut opportunities in front of goal and the winger has acknowledged the fact that his side need to work on their finishing in order to turn draws into victories.

Depay told the Manchester Evening News: "Opponents are more organised here. The Premier League is stronger than in Holland everybody knows that. I could have finished a couple of chances but I didn't and I have to work on that.

"It was frustrating. We started great and sharp and we created some chances but didn't finish them. The second half also we created some more chances but again we didn't finish it so that was the frustration.

"When you look back you have to say it was one of those days but we have to start finishing. But we have to look forward and train and be ready for Club Brugge on Wednesday."
