Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has snapped back at Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola has questioned the former Bayern captain's injury record.
"I'm here now to make an impact, a good one, and I'm looking forward to playing more games and getting better with my fitness levels," he said.
"It was important to play 30 minutes against Villa, step-by-step I want to get to 100 per cent.
"Our team-mates have done an amazing job making all the new players feel welcome.
"It's a good dressing room, everyone joining together, it's a lot of fun. The most important thing is that we're like a team. We will get to the next level."
